Find Your Perfect Fit: The Heuloria Sizing Guide
At Heuloria, every dress is handcrafted to order. To ensure you look stunning on your special day, we offer two ways to find your fit: Standard Sizing and Custom Tailoring.
1. Standard Size vs. Custom Size
- Standard Size: Ideal if your measurements align closely with our size chart. We offer a wide range from US 2 to US 26W.
- Custom Size (Highly Recommended): For a small additional fee, our tailors will craft the dress to your exact measurements. This is the best way to ensure a "glove-like" fit and minimize the need for local alterations.
2. How to Measure (The Professional Way)
Do not rely on your daily clothing size (e.g., your jeans or T-shirt size). Special occasion gowns are structured differently.
Pro Tip: For the most accurate results, ask a friend or a professional tailor to measure you while you wear the undergarments you plan to wear with your dress.
A. Bust
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight. Note: This is not your bra size.
B. Waist
Find your natural waistline—this is the narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above your belly button. Keep the tape slightly loose to allow for breathing room.
C. Hips
Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips (usually around the seat).
D. Hollow to Floor
Stand straight with bare feet. Measure from the center of your collarbone (the hollow) straight down to the floor.
-
Note: If you plan to wear high heels, please add the heel height to this measurement or measure while wearing the shoes.
E. Height
Stand straight with bare feet and measure from the top of your head to the floor.

3. Compare with Our Size Chart
Once you have your measurements, compare them to the chart below. If your measurements for bust, waist, and hips fall into different sizes, always choose the largest size and have the dress tailored down locally.

4. Frequently Asked Questions
What if I am between sizes?
If you are between two sizes, we strongly recommend choosing the Custom Size option. It ensures the silhouette is balanced for your specific proportions.
Should I allow for heels?
Yes. When providing your "Hollow to Floor" or "Height," please factor in the height of the shoes you intend to wear. If you haven't bought your shoes yet, estimate the height (e.g., 3 inches/8 cm).
Will the dress be exactly these measurements?
Since our dresses are handmade, there is a standard industry tolerance of 1-3 cm (approx. 1 inch). We also leave a small "structural allowance" inside the seams, so a local tailor can easily make minor adjustments.
