Measurement Guide
Accurate measurements are essential when ordering a made-to-order or custom-sized wedding dress. At Heuloria, your submitted measurements are reviewed before production and used to help our dressmakers adjust the pattern and proportions of your gown.
Please follow the instructions below carefully and double-check all measurements before submitting your order.
For the most accurate results:
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape level across your back.
Keep the tape comfortably snug without compressing the bust. This is your body measurement, not your bra size.
Measure around your natural waistline, usually the narrowest part of your torso.
Keep your body relaxed and do not hold your stomach in or pull the measuring tape too tightly.
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Make sure the measuring tape remains level around your body.
Measure across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other shoulder.
Keep your shoulders relaxed and maintain a natural posture while measuring.
Wrap the measuring tape around the top of your arm and shoulder, following the natural armhole line.
Keep the tape comfortably loose enough to allow normal arm movement. This measurement is particularly important for dresses with sleeves.
Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm while keeping your arm relaxed at your side.
Do not flex your arm or pull the measuring tape too tightly.
Measure around your wrist at the point where the sleeve will normally end.
This measurement is especially important for fitted long sleeves.
Measure from the shoulder point down along the outside of your arm to the wrist.
Keep your arm naturally relaxed with a slight bend at the elbow.
Stand straight with bare feet and measure from the hollow at the base of your neck, between your collarbones, vertically down to the floor.
Keep the measuring tape straight and close to the front of your body.
Measure your full height from the top of your head to the floor while standing barefoot.
Please provide your height without shoes.
Example: 165 cm
Please provide the heel height of the shoes you plan to wear with your dress.
Example: 8 cm
If you have not chosen your wedding shoes yet, please provide your expected heel height.
Please provide your current weight.
Weight is used as a supporting reference when our team reviews the overall proportion and consistency of your submitted measurements before production.
Depending on the dress design or your personal requirements, our team may ask for additional information, such as bra size, preferred dress length, train length, special fit requests, or other measurements relevant to the selected style.
If any submitted measurements appear unusual or inconsistent, our team may contact you for confirmation before fabric cutting begins.
Please avoid measuring over thick clothing, pulling the tape too tightly, using estimated measurements, changing posture while measuring, or combining your height and heel height into one measurement.
For custom sizing, always provide your actual body measurements rather than measurements taken from another dress.
If you are unsure about any measurement, please contact us before submitting your custom size information.
You can send us your measurements and the dress style you are interested in, and our team can help review the information before production.
If you are deciding between a standard size and custom sizing, please see our Size Guide.
Your measurements are used to help our dressmakers adjust the pattern, dress length and overall proportions of your gown.
Because every body shape and dress construction is different, custom sizing does not guarantee that no local alteration will ever be required. Minor adjustments may still be necessary depending on personal fit preference, body shape, fabric and gown construction.
Providing accurate measurements gives our team the best information possible to create your dress according to the measurements submitted with your order.
